The community and the environment are a unity that, if managed well, will greatly benefit each other. A well-managed environment can benefit the surrounding community, but the community needs to be willing and able to maintain and manage the environment. The goal of this program is to improve the ability of the community in environmental management as well as other related aspects. The hope is that this can improve the independence and quality of life of the community.
GETTING TO KNOW THE COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM
Education and Awareness
Education and awareness are delivered through campaigns, socialization, counseling or training to the community. Our programs include conservation campaigns, education for communities around conservation areas, environmental and conservation awareness, scholarships, and student training.
Community Assistance and Empowerment
The program is implemented with the aim of encouraging the independence of communities around conservation areas to improve their economic capabilities while increasing environmental awareness. Programs include efforts to increase the capacity and independence of women, empower farmers, and improve the quality of life of conservation area communities.
One Health
One Health is a program to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining health between humans, animals and the environment as a whole. This is done through communication, coordination, and collaboration of the various multi-sectoral stakeholders involved in policy-making and operations.
